The mission of IgnitED! Consulting is to provide comprehensive support to school systems in order to increase whole child student success through a Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Framework.

A focus on creating equity for K-12 students is something IgnitED! Consulting firmly believes we must be intentional in, and as a collective, we must take anti-racist actions, dismantle inequitable systems, and empower marginalized individuals and communities.
Our consultation, training, and coaching for schools, districts, and educational communities are therefore centered around equity. We are committed to supporting and enhancing systems and success for students who have traditionally been marginalized. This includes a wide variety of students from all backgrounds, including, but not limited to, students of color, underrepresented students, multi-lingual learners, and students with unique learning abilities.

Terri is the Co-Founder and Managing Director for IgnitED! Consulting. Terri has a passion for training and equipping educators with practical strategies, best practices and resources that can be implemented immediately to improve student outcomes.
Sonjanita is a consultant for IgnitED! Consulting with a passion for training and coaching around social and emotional supports, inclusive educational environments, student-centered and equitable practices.
As a team, we’ve worked with state educational systems and regional consulting teams. We’ve also worked with large districts with 50,000 students, as well as smaller districts with 1,000 students. In order to ensure success, we provide tailored support and match our trainers with the expertise your system requires.

It takes three to five years for a strategic implementation to yield high quality results. In order to meet our customers’ needs, we support systems more intensely the first year, and then we release support in years two and three. Our team is always willing to re-engage with you if you wish to continue benefiting from our support after year three!
